Party Dates for 2026
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party runs on select nights from Sunday, November 8 through Tuesday, December 22, 2026 at Magic Kingdom. It's not every night of the season, so this is the first thing to check before you book flights or a hotel around it.
How to Get Tickets
MVMCP requires a separate ticket on top of regular park admission, so it's worth budgeting for ahead of time.
Early Park Entry
🕓 A Three-Hour Head Start
One of the best perks of a party ticket is early entry. Even though the party officially starts at 7:00 p.m., guests can enter Magic Kingdom as early as 4:00 p.m. — a full three hours before the festivities begin. That means you can knock out a few regular attractions in the daylight, grab dinner, and still have plenty of time to settle in before the parade and fireworks.
Rides with a Holiday Overlay
A handful of attractions get dressed up just for the party:
Park favorites stay open too, usually with shorter lines than a normal day — Pirates of the Caribbean, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Haunted Mansion, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, and Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin.
Characters You Can Only Meet at the Party
A few meet-and-greets are exclusive to MVMCP nights, so plan around these if there's someone specific you want to see:
🎁 Exclusive Meet & Greets
- Anna and Elsa in their holiday outfits at Princess Fairytale Hall
- Mickey and Minnie dressed for Christmas at Town Square Theater
- Jack Skellington (dressed as Santa) and Sally, also at Town Square Theater — a pairing you won't find any other night of the year
Where to Find Santa
🎅 Santa's Christmas Carnival
Head to Santa's Christmas Carnival near Dumbo and The Barnstormer in Storybook Circus. It's a relaxed spot with crafts and a quieter line than the main parade crowd, which makes it a good option if you've got little ones who'd rather meet Santa than fight for a parade spot.
The Parade
🥁 Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade
This parade runs down Main Street, complete with gingerbread men, toy soldiers, and a Santa send-off at the end. Since it stays on Main Street, you've got several good viewing spots to choose from depending on how early you stake out a spot.
The Fireworks Show
🎆 Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks
This show wraps Cinderella Castle in present-shaped projections set to holiday classics. Main Street is the classic spot to watch, but if you'd rather skip the crowd there, Liberty Square, Fantasyland, and Tomorrowland all have solid sightlines too.
Dessert party packages for the fireworks are returning this year, with reservation details expected soon.
Frozen Holiday Surprise
❄️ A Frozen Wonderland
Cinderella Castle transforms into a frozen wonderland for this show, with Elsa, Anna, Olaf, Kristoff, and the snowgies all making an appearance. If your group wants to dance instead of just watch, there are also DJ dance parties set up around the park throughout the night.
What to Wear
Florida nights during the party season swing more than people expect — it can be warm enough for short sleeves at 4 p.m. and noticeably cool by the time the fireworks start. A festive long sleeve or a cozy crewneck is usually the sweet spot: comfortable for walking around all evening, and it photographs well for that one family picture in front of the castle that always ends up being the favorite.
It's also just a fun excuse to dress the part. A lot of guests treat MVMCP as their one night a year to break out matching holiday shirts or a Christmas-themed pajama look for the whole family.
A Few Holiday Pieces That Work Well for the Party
Our holiday collection has several long sleeves and crewnecks designed with exactly this kind of night in mind — easy to wear for hours of walking, and still festive enough for the photos.

🔋 Charge Up
Bring a phone charger or battery pack — you'll take more photos than you think.
🎨 A Keepsake, Not a Souvenir
If you like a keepsake more than a souvenir cup, a small hand-painted ornament travels easily and becomes something you hang on the tree every year after.
👀 Don't Rush
The Main Street decorations and music are easy to miss when you're focused on getting to the next ride or character line.
🕰️ Plan Around Your Priorities
Decide what you actually care about — parade, fireworks, one specific character — and build your night around that first.
